SC Villa determinedly beat URA 3-0 to reclaim top spot amidst possession enjoyed by the toothless away side.
Following the painful one nil lose to KCCA FC in their previous fixture, midfielder Martin Kizza understood the need to make goals hence netted at an hour mark before he doubled their lead 21 minutes later whereas Yubu Bogere sealed the deal for SC villa three minutes to full time.
After a 45 minutes of goal drought, SC Villa coach Wasswa Bbossa introduced Bogere to replace Godfrey Lwesibawa meanwhile URA’s Paul Nkata brought in Dickson Kigongo for Kalama whereas Hudu Muliki for Nicholas Kagaba.
The calculated substitutions however paid Bbossa as Bogere scored the third goal after Kizza had given the homes side a comfortable two nil lead although the penalty that led to the second goal was debatable.
SC Villa returns to winning ways but also reclaims the table top with 36 points in 18 games whereas URA’s 7th lose of the season favors them with 8th spot 23 points in 18 games.
