KCCA beat Police FC 2-0 at the StarTimes stadium and climb 3rd as Police remains table leaders with no increment of points.

New signings Muhammad Shaban and Allan Katerrega who joined the club on the same date scored in each splits respectively.

It was Sadam Juma who with great vision set up the former Onduparaka player for his first goal for the club and of the season at the 15 minutes before Allan Katerrega doubled their lead at the 85th minutes.

Shaban displayed outstanding efforts with tireless runs as he acrobatically shot at the half time stoppage only to be denied by Cross bar and Police FC keeper Davies Mutebi’s ricochet whose greatness showed again after Shaban’s immediate effort with a header was punched off.

Also known as ‘The dancing rasta’, Allan Katerrega took charge of the midfield after a shift of position from the right wing back to a more detailed central midfield role before scoring the exceptional goal after beating four defenders with a replica of what Ronaldo and Ronaldinho’s used to do five minutes to full time.

The Kasasiro boys endured pressure as visitors’ Police FC enjoyed excellent possessions except their shots on goal didn’t mature to goals unfortunately.

With the results, KCCA has won four games now, registered two draws and a defeat consequently accumulating 16 points.

Whereas disenchanted Abdallah Mubiru’s side, Police FC much as remains at the top of the table, has now registered their 3rd defeat. With their previous five wins and three draws, their points remain 17 as accrued.

As KCCA will play their next fixture away to 10th place Soana FC at the Kavumba recreational center on the 18th of November 2017, Police FC will host 9th place URA FC with whom they share the same stadium at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
