Karisa scores for Uganda Cranes’ in their last fixture of Group E world cup qualifiers match against Congo Brazzaville at the Stade De L’Unite, Kintele in Brazzaville where the Cranes were held to a one all draw.
The hosts took the lead at the 10th minutes through Marvin Baudry’s goal before Milton Karisa leveled at the 11th minutes.
The Cranes’ squad had enough share for locally based footballers as the match was to be played for less than world cup qualifications.
The fixture Moses Basena considered as a chance to prepare local based players fourth coming CHAN and CECAFA games also included some senior players such as Captain Dennis Onyango, Isaac Isinde, Murushid Juuko Hassan Wasswa, Denis Iguma, and Godfrey Walusimbi in the starting XI.
With the third draw the cranes secured in the journey started on 7th November 2017, the East African side finishes third as Egypt already qualified with the victory one nil victory against Congo Brazzaville on 9th October 2017.
Meanwhile Congo Brazzaville finishes last on the table with only two points after drawing two and losing four in six games.
