Real Madrid suffered a socking defeat away to La-Liga newcomers Girona inspite of taking the first lead in the first half.

Girona attempted to score in the first half in two occasions but both Pablo Maffeo and Cristian Portu’s efforts were denied by the cross bar as it favored Isco to put Real Madrid ahead with his 12th minutes strike.

Isco gave Madrid the first lead, unfortunately the tables turned around

The Spanish attacking midfielder finished what Cristiano Ronaldo started after the Portuguese forward shot but goal keeper Yassine Bounou punched off to Isco who tapped in.

After enjoying being in charge in the first half Real Madrid lost it in the second half, Cristhian Stuani equalized for the home side at the 54th minutes.  The Uruguayan international took advantage of a ball that bounced off Real Madrid player before he beat Nacho and finish past Kiko Casilla.

Pablo Maffeo shot inside the box as Cristian Portu back heeled a finish from a close range to turn the table around at the 58th minutes. Lucas Vazquez scored at the 83rd minutes unfortunately the lines flag was up and cancelled the goal.

The results mean Real Madrid are third in the Laliga after ten matches, eight points behind un beaten table leaders Barcelona and un beaten second place Valencia.

They will play their next fixture against Tottenham Hotspur in the champions’ league on Wednesday 1st November at the Wembley Stadium before returning for Laliga fixture at the Bernabeu against Last Palmas four days later.

Whereas Pablo Machin’s side will play their next fixture in the Laliga at the Ciutat de Valencia against Levante on 5th November 2017.
