IS SHAFIQ BISASO’S RESIGNATION AN ACT OF COWARDICE?

Shafiq Bisaso resigned unexpectedly this morning ahead of Soana match against Vipers slated to take place today at the St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende.

The tactician who took over from former coach Alex Isabirye two months ago and this Wednesday morning tendered his resignation letter to Soana FC administration for reasons he termed as unbearable situation.

“The situation has been unbearable, I have made the decision for the good of the club. And I admit this is a painful but worthy decision.”   Said Shafiq.

A confirmation of the former SC Villa and Masavu Coach’s resignation was as well confirmed by Soana FC director Obed. The joking but authentic Obed said in his own words;

“Yes, he has resigned and I will handle the club myself.”

Of course Shafiq Bisaso’s deputy Katono Mutono will manage the club for now starting with the match against Vipers.

During the resigned Bisaso’s reign, Soana out of five matches only picked a win from a former Shafiq coached, Masavu FC and draw from Bright Stars, loses from SC Villa, Proline and Onduparaka consequently positioned 15th on the table.

The question that remains unanswered, is the act of a while CAF A certified coach an act of Cowardice?
