KCCA FC did what the coach expected of them by beating visitors FUS Rabat 3 – 1 at the Star Times Stadium Lugogo.

Geofrey Sserunkuma opened the scoring for the home side from a spot kick after Yassir Jarici brought Poloto Julius down at the 41’ minute.

52’ minute graced the new signing Sadam Juma with an opportunity created by Sserunkuma to fire his trade mark stunner shot to enable KCCA double their Lead.

Nine minutes later midfielder Isaac Muleme scored the third goal to give the Lugogo side a comfortable lead.

Meanwhile another debutant, Lamine Diakite matched Juma by scoring a consolation for FUS Rabat at the 84’ minutes nevertheless Mike Mutebi’s mission was accomplished as Hoalid Regragui’s boys couldn’t do anything beyond the one goal.

Regragui’s side goes straight to the bottom of the table with six points as KCCA temporarily tops group A with 9 points. Meanwhile an ongoing match between Club Africain and Rivers united leaves both sides on second and third respectively with seven points each.

On 8th July KCCA FC will visit Club Africain of Tunisia as FUS Rabat will fly to Rivers United of Nigerian for their next fixtures.
