Costa is a kind of striker most teams would love to have because of his ability to score.
His 20 goals in 35 premier league games contributed as well to Chelsea winning the title but shockingly Costa revealed how he is expendable in Chelsea.
According to reports, Antonio Conte directly spoke to the Spanish international through text message and point blank said;
“You have to find a team”
On receiving the message, Costa forwarded the text to the club administration for decision making.
“My relationship with the coach has been bad this season. It’s a shame, I’ve already forwarded the message to Chelsea people to decide.”
The non-pleasing relationship between Costa and Conte must have begun way back when the striker had dispute with fitness coach resulting to being dropped for the match against Leicester city.
However Diego seem to have less worry about it and is open to returning to Atletico Madrid.
“It would be nice to go back, but it’s difficult to be four or five months without playing. It’s a World Cup year and there are many things to think about. I need to play, just that”
His only worry comes because Atletico was banned from signing players until January no wonder he said;
“Being five months without playing? I do not know, it’s complicated, but people know that I love Atletico a lot and that I love to live in Madrid.”
Much as Costa could have an option of heading to China’s Tianjin Quanjian, the new rules over foreign players in the Chinese Super League discouraged the owner Quanjian Nature Medicine.
The discouraging rule requires each team to field in three foreign players unlike previously four.
Unless a different Chinese Club picks interest in Costa, the 28 year old player will have to wait to hear from other clubs.
