Sekisambu scored a brace against Onduparaka

Kampala – Erisa Sekisambu said he knew he would score against Onduparaka despite the fact the year had started bad for him. The Vipers striker banged two goals besides Tony Odur and Brian Nkubi’s goals to demolish highly followed Arua side Onduparaka at the St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende.

Speaking to Club’s media team, Sekisambu said;

“Coming into the game I was confident the game was ours to win and knew I would also score. We had a perfect game despite conceding a goal. I’m happy with the way we played today. The result is good for the team while scoring gives me a lot of confidence and motivation to work even harder,” Sekisambu added.”

Dickens Okwir scored the only goal for the visiting team but that was way to less to rub shoulders with Vipers’ four goals which showed superiority command. Vipers remains 3rd on the table, 11 points behind already champions KCCA FC and 3 points behind second place Sports Club Villa.

With most of the teams left with two games, Sekisambu has taken his goal tally to 7 as the league’s top Scorer KCCA striker Geofrey Sserunkuma has scored took his to 20 after scoring two from spot kicks against Lweza FC.
