Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Manchester united at the Emirates Stadium sets up an opportunity for the London club to push in the top four miraculously if fate favors them for the 21st consecutive appearance. Granit Xhaka and former United kid, Danny Welbeck’s goals in three minutes and nine seconds gave the Gunner’s victory over The Red Devils.
Jose Mourinho’s deceptive verbal tactics of threatening to fill in second eleven did not put clever Arsene Wenger in ditch as The Arsenal boss filled in squad ready for war hence Granit Xhaka launched the first 25 yards bullet that got deflected upwardly by Herrera into the net by 54th minute and by 57th, Welbeck nicely headed Oxlade Chamberlain’s cross past De Gea.
In the first few minutes, the visitors posed threat with Anthony Martial and usual suspect Wayne Rooney’s shots on target unfortunately saved by Petr Cech. The home side could have seen more goals times unfortunately some of the presented numerous scoring opportunities were wasted by Aaron Ramsey as he shot others, at the same time Chamberlain attempts all were saved by De Gea.

The baby step taken, positions Arsenal two points behind their longtime foe with a game at hand. Whereas Man United still has two routes to qualify for the Champions League, one through Europa title and the other via finishing in top four.
