Plays Like Former Arsenal Star Thierry Henry, Find Out What Arsene Wenger Has To Say About Him Shifting To London

Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe celebrating after scoring

From the first time anyone’s eyes land on this French international, all he sees is a player walking, running, playing and structurally looking like Arsenal former star Thierry Henry.  Kylian Mbappe, is only 18-years-old and has already risen to lime light in the European football, breaking former Monaco and French international Henry’s record by making a first team appearance at 16, as Henry made at 21. Scoring at the age 17 against Troyes a thing Henry didn’t do.

Although previously Mbappe scored five goals in the UEFA Champions League Knockout Phase, against Juventus last night, he did not appear on the score sheet however continued to show the world what with his speed and skill could do as Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci couldn’t catch up with him.

Obviously Wenger’s type Mbappe intrigued the French tactician before the world knew him, he didn’t hesitate to open talks with the teenager. However it didn’t work out his way. Speaking to beIN sport Wenger said;

“The player would tell you that I was at his home last year to try to get him here, because he was at the end of his contract but Monaco managed to keep him and the decision was very, very tight. But I could understand it as well because he was educated there and at the end decided to stay there. So, I don’t know what is his deep aspirations but maybe the best thing for him is to stay one more year at Monaco.”

Besides Arsenal, rumor has it that Manchester united put an £80 million bid for the sensational striker as Monaco requested for £100 million, a logic for keeping away teams so as to keep the player. Big clubs from English Premier League and other European countries such as Chelsea, Manchester City and Paris-Saint-Germaine have all shown interest in the Striker.
