After securing maximum points during the encounter with Premier League defending Champions Leicester City, the Champions League doors are still exposed for the Gunners. Arsenal played a trademark touch for 86th minutes finally Montreal’s shot got deflected by Robert Huth giving the Gunners Victory.

Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Riyad Mahrez came close to scoring for their respective sides but got denied by great goal keeper saves and cross Bar.  A few minutes before the end of first half, Alexis made a brilliant shot that hit the bar, whereas earlier on a quick decision Walcott made in the box to shoot saw Leicester goal keep save.

Riyad Mahrez’s first half attempt to make the difference between the two with fantastic shot brought the genius in Petr Cech who saved Arsenal’s day.  Thanks to Man of the Match Montreal, the Spaniard defender deflected shot in the box won the day for Wenger’s boys.

The North London side now lies three points behind Manchester United and Four Behind City with equal number of games played, hoping for one side to loose in their imminent fixture. Liverpool seated 3rd on the table is 6 points ahead of Arsenal with two extra games played.
