Sanchez’s Conducts Doesn’t Mean He Wants To Leave Arsenal – Alex Iwobi

Arsenal’s most dangerous man ever since Thierry Henry Left the club, Alexis Sanchez has been rated high and deemed to be losing interest in the London side because of the recent pathetic performance of the team. Coupled with his inability to sign a new contract, reactions and body language in the pitch football lovers believe the Chilean could walk out of emirates soon.

However from the looks of things, the Arsenal forward has been misjudged as his reactions and body language during the national duties are similar to club duties. He was seen reacting furiously when Chile lost to Argentina on Thursday in world cup qualifiers.

According to team mate Alex Iwobi, his teammate’s reaction is simply an expression of ‘I want to win’ and has nothing to do with ‘I want to leave’ except his desire to win looks extreme. “He’s a player that always wants to win, like everyone in the team. Maybe he shows it a bit more than anyone else, but that’s what everyone is like, we all want to win, we’re trying our best to win. ” quoted Iwobi.

He additional admitted that fact that everyone in the team likes to have a player of Alexis caliber amongst them. In his own words the Nigerian said, “….but it’s a winning mentality, it’s not something everyone in the team hates, we all love to have a player like that. The goals and the assists he brings to the team are great.
