Good Start: Ibrahim Kirya Starts Well With URA SC

Kampala – New managers usually find it a bit of a challenge to take over a club in the middle of a season and straight away start with victory because there is minute time for learning and understanding the team.

Unlike Ibrahim Kirya whose story is different, a week after assuming office, today against Sadolin paints happens to be his first match as Head coach of URA in which 88th minute strike by Bakota Labama gave the new boss noble beginning.

Home team wrestled shoulders with the previous league champions unfortunately couldn’t notch goals. Luck was on the Lugazi side as two minutes before full time Bakota broke the deadlock with shot inside the box that ended up top right side of the net.

In other AUPL matches played, Proline got involved in a six goal thriller with their visitors JMC Hippos, PFC goals by Isiagi ×2, Sekantuka and Owori. Bul Fc and Kirinya Jinja SS played a goalless draw.

At the green light stadium goal drought between Onduparaka and Bright Stars was equals to the lack of rain in the region, though somewhere in C.S Mwererwe Matugga goals were available, The Saints still played a one all draw with Police Fc.
