Kampala- To the green army the dread all started when veteran striker Caesar Okuti couldn’t successfully convert a spot kick into the net. Jagason’s run from the centre beating defenders and penetrating the eighteen only to be brought down led to a penalty, however Okuti well sent the goal keeper to the left side of the post as the ball went to the far extreme right side of the post but off target.

Proline captain Gift Ali didn’t take matters less serious as he made a wonder long distanced shot on target that ended at the far top right corner of the post giving the home side the first lead. David Owori made it two while Nelson Senkatuka sealed the deal for Proline although few minutes before full time Muhamad Shaban Jagason got a consolation goal for the visiting team by a penalty bringing the score line to 3:1.

When asked what this particular win meant for him as an individual and a team, goal number one scorer Gift Ali said,” As an individual this is great. Am happy I scored. I have a target. 2nd round has started well for me. I hope to keep the foam. As a team this gives us the picture of where we want to be in 2nd round. It wasn’t easy today. We fought hard. Am sure all games will be the same. We ready and will continue working hard.”

Today’s victory against Onduparaka repositions Proline to the 9th position of the table as match loosers remain 4th on the table with 25 points.
