KCCA defeated 2-1 by CNaps with a last minute goal grabbed by the Madagascar giants.
Each side were attack minded though distinct scoring chances showed up for the Ugandan side through Timothy Awany and Derrick Nsibambi.
Whereas Nsibambi goal was nullified for offside and Awany was denied by the cross bar all in the first half, the difference between the two became clear when the Cranes International striker clinically finished a Julius Opoloto cross to give the away side the lead at the 55th minute.
However the Uganda Premier League giants enjoyed leadership for a short while as Awany’s hand-ball contact resulted into the spot kick which Fenosoa Ratolojanahary scored.
At the time Mike Mutebi was virtually excited for a draw and away goal advantage, Francis Rafaralahy with acute header that killed KCCA as CNaps come back was completed.
February 21st is another day for the two sides to meet and whichever side that manages to pull a superior aggregate will book a date with Ethiopian giants St. George or South Sudan champions Al Salam Wau who will play against each other today at Addis Ababa Stadium.
