Barcelona forced to finish goalless by Getafe

Barcelona for the first time in La Liga on 2017/18 season has finished a complete match goalless.

The La Liga table leaders were denied access to the net in two occasions as Philippe Coutinho and Leonel Messi’s efforts were stopped by brilliant departing Getafe goal keeper Vicente Guaita.

Meanwhile Debutant Yerri Mina tried but his effort went wide, and on the other side Getafe almost took the breath of Barcelona way when Vitorino Antune’s 28-yeards free kick was slightly rolled over the bar by attentive Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

Nevertheless Barcelona remains unbeaten the League and are seven points clear ahead of Atletico Madrid.

Barca will play their next fixture on 17th February away to Eibar at the Municipal de Ipurua whereas 10th place Getafe will play on Monday 19th, February at their own grounds, Coliseum Alfonso Perez.
