ONDUPARAKA CHAIRMAN PROMISES TO SUPPORT MORE THAN 15 PUPILS WHO OBTAIN FIRST GRADE IN P7

Onduparaka management this morning gave out scholastic materials for P7 pupils of Onduparaka primary schools intentional to motivate the candidates.

Amongst given items were brand new mathematical set, ball point pen, pencils and boxes of mineral water for refreshment during the exams period besides the big success card handed through the class monitor.

The club chairman Benjamin Nyakuni during the activity promised to support pupils Of Onduparaka primary school who will obtain first grade from the Primary Leaving Examinations 2017. In his words;

“We shall support any of you who makes it in the first grade to join s.1, make sure you work very hard to be in first grade. I will be glad if 15 of you or more makes it in first grade, at least the rest should be around second.”

Meanwhile Onduparaka captain Toha Rashid gave words of wisdom to the pupils, saying football without studies is challenging.

“I can remember when I sat for my PLE, I never had mere pencil, during the mathematics paper I had to do my construction with a pen, so take care of the little we have given you, it’s very important. Playing football minus school is very difficult, I urge all of you to work hard.” Said the Captain.

In the previous year, the best four performing pupils of this school which has graced Onduparaka FC with their football grounds (Green Light Stadium) were rewarded by Onduparaka FC with money worth 120,000 for purchasing a pair of shoes.
