KCCA FC undermined Onduparaka by frustrating them in a 4–1 triumph at the Star times stadium Lugogo just as planned by Mike Mutebi.
The Kasasiro boys came determined to collect maximum points so as to bring up to speed the lost points in the previous two draws whereas the Caterpillars though had a win few days ago against Maroons, had revenge in mind for the 7–0 defeat they suffered last season unfortunately nothing changed much.
Early chances presented itself to former KCCA player Ceaser Okhuti unfortunately his efforts didn’t materialize due to the diligence of Benjamin Ochan, whereas the 32nd minute was when the heavens gates of goals opened.
In the rainy match day, striker Derrick Nsibambi took advantage of Simba Sabir’s defensive mistake to put Mike Mutebi’s boys in charge of the game. The second half saw Patrick Kaddu and Allan Okello interplayed to mastermind a goal for midfielder Muzamiru Mutyaba to double their lead.
The introduction of Jackson Nandu proved at 83 minutes productive as it only took him three minutes to score the third goal and Tito Okello who as well came in as a substitute just needed eight minutes to close the chapter of close for KCCA.
Meanwhile substitute Kabon Living made what could be a goal but then remained an exceptional goal attempt with a 25 yards shot which Ochan punched for a corner. Defender Muhammad Rashid scored a consolation goal for the visitors with a header in the additional time.
KCCA now claims the lead on the table with five points collected from the three matches whereas Onduparaka is situated ninth with four points after a draw, win and loss. KCCA will visit URA at Mandela national stadium on Friday 29th September as Onduparaka will seek redemption from Police FC at the Greenlight Stadium the same day.
