MIKE MUTEBI STARTS SEASON WITH BITTERNESS OVER SENIOR PLAYERS

Mutebi the coach of KCCA in the present-day won literally everything that Ugandan football has to offer for him and the club in Uganda including the recent super cup which they won without senior players last Saturday.

But Mike who is fond of saying “our way” in his vocabulary is once again unhappy about some senior players of Uganda premier League giants because they didn’t act KCCA FC way.

His issue is mainly about the fact that the players who represented the national team in the world cup qualifiers fixture against Egypt undermined the match against the west Nile club in the pretext of being tired yet Mo Salah had already reported for duty with Liverpool.

Speaking to journalist at the time before the kick off, as usual about indiscipline players Mutebi said;

“I want to tell you categorically how silly our players are. These players went and played for the national team, they returned. We have a cup final and they are not here. Salah is already featuring for Liverpool who they played with. ” Said Mutebi.

Benjamin Ochan, Derrick Nsibambi, Muzamiru Mutyaba, and Isaac Muleme are the players who refused to appear in the super cup match against Paidha black angels in which they won convincingly three-one.

The 47 year Mutebi promised to discipline those four boys by not including them in the lineup of the first fixture of the season.

“They will not be part of starting eleven.” Said the angry Mutebi.

As the season opens on Tuesday 12th Sept 2017, KCCA FC will start defending the trophy against the newly promoted side Maroons FC in the Star times Stadium – Lugogo at 4:00pm.
