Real Madrid lashed Granada four goals to Zero away from home to maintain a competitive race for the Laliga title. Resting of key players including Christiano Ronaldo, Tony Kroos, Isco, Luca Modric, Gareth Bale and Marcelo proved a successful tactics as James Rodriguez and Marco Asensio each enjoyed brace in the first thirty five minutes of the game.
Much as Lucas Vazquez and Francisco Casemiro missed chances by hitting the bar and not capitalizing on open chances, Zinadine Zidane’s boys were not deprived of accessing the net multiple times as Rodriguez from a close range shot past the goal keeper to open gate for goals and eleven minutes later accomplished a brace with a header.
By the 30th minute, Spanish international striker Alvaro Morata was assisted by Danilo to score Madrid’s third goal, as the 35th minute saw the 21-year-old Morata complete a brace from unimaginable angle from Marco Asensio’s assist. Inspite of competitor Barcelona’s earlier similar victory, both have equal points whereas the table temporarily favors Barcelona due to the head to head policy.
Real Madrid will host Sevilla on 14th May at the Santiago Bernabeu as newly appointed Granada coach and former England skipper Tony Adams will take his team to play Osasuna on Saturday 13th May. On the other side Barcelona visits Las Palmas away from home on the same day Madrid plays.
