Kampala – The defending champions of Uganda cup Vipers were eliminated by another West Nile team Paidha Black Angels in the quarter finals of the competition. Unexpectedly Fred Mako of Paidha by 29th minute made a brilliant shot that Ismael Watenga couldn’t save. A determination displayed by the hosts to equalize yielded no fruit as the visitors defended their only goal.

Speaking to journalist, Paidha coach said he told his boys, they were babies. They were David hence able to kill goliath. According to the coach, the perception of being David resulted into the victory because the biblical story says David brought down giant Goliath. The goal scorer said most of vipers players are his friends in Kitende so he knew them, hence made winning against Vipers possible.

URA will host Express on Tuesday in Mehta as KCCA FC will visit Mbale side Kataka FC on April 11th. Police FC waits for the winner between Kataka and KCCA.
