Barcelona beat helpless Sevilla at the Nou Camp by three goals to nil as Lionel Messi scored a brace and Luis Suarez got his name on the score sheet. Barcelona possessed the game through the 90 minutes and consequently Suarez chanced to grab the opener and was successful.
Suarez assisted Lionel Messi to score the second goal of the day and the Argentine Striker got brace from a corner kick conceded by Nico Pareja. Pablo Sarabia of Sevilla tried two long range shots to get goals for the away team but was unlucky as they turn out to be goals.
Coach Luis Enrique expressed how happy he was in an interview with BBC sports. “Probably we have put in the best first half performance of the season.” Said the 46-year-old Spanish tactician. Barcelona remains second on the table, and two points behind now table leaders Real Madrid.
