Kampala – Game that was supposed to be played at Namboole stadium was eventually shifted to Nakivubo due to the exhibition event slated to take place in the same venue. Whilst Villa hosted Lweza in their former home ground, all was well and felt home.
New signing Emmanuel Okwi proved worth by scoring another goal in his second appearance for the club by putting the Ugandan giants at the lead with his 21st minute header. In the second half Lweza continued to look a weaker side after winger Martin Kizza caused the defense challenge with his dribbles resulting. A notable advantage Kitata took when Okwi lost control of the ball, he got it and curved it to the net making it two goals to nil.
Substitutions made by the Jogoo coach seem to be the root cause of the problem, the withdrawal of Okwi and ‘pressure creator’ Kizza resulted into the relaxation of the entire team opening up chance of the visitors to begin growing horns. Kakooza Rajab converted to goal a cross brought by their left footed winger at the 71st minute and three minutes before full time another similar cross was not wasted but used to get an absolute equalizer by Owen Kasule making to two all draw.
This result makes it the third sequential draw for Sports Club villa and puts Coach Shafiq Bisaso Job at stake. The sixteen time champions lies second on the log with 34 points. Elsewhere in the Uganda top flite league, Bright stars drew with Soana Fc with one goal each.
